2568822-81238122-05282025- 。This lovely hat from the 1960\'s is made of a beautiful tiny checkered royal blue and black fabric. The round crown has a small band at the bottom. This band is edged in pink grosgrain where it meets the crown. There is also a curly fabric strip edged in the same grosgrain. There is a small pink grosgrain bow at the top of the strip. A tam, short for Tam O’ Shanter, is a soft, voluminous round hat, usually with a round seam that joins the flat crown to the sides. Tams often have a band around the bottom that gathers in the voluminous crown and secures the hat to the head of its wearer. LABELS: TREBOR original. Store label: Bullocks Wilshire Sport Wear. There is also an imprint inside the hat: Pipits, made in Western Germany. This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years. Feathers, straw, flowers & veils are fragile, given their age.
