The durable roper boot was first developed in the 1940s as a hardworking alternative to traditional cowboy footwear for rodeo riders. A shorter heel and round toe made it easier to transition from wearing it with stirrups in the saddle to running on the ground when roping cattle. Our style builds on that history of proven utility with the sturdiness of our signature bench welt construction and outsoles that combine the classic look of leather with the traction of rubber panels at the toe and heel. Featuring uppers made with best-quality leather or suede from some of the world\'s top tanneries, we gave this frontier classic an elevated upgrade.
