1960s Red Straw Hat | For Polka Dot Lovers。This hat from the 1930s\' is absolutely beautiful, and it showcases the splendid millinery fashions of the era. The crown is medium height and has a pointy shape that slants towards the front. The crown extends to the back, so the hat can be worn in a tilted position. The brim is of medium width, and it is turned down so it covers one eye, and tapers down towards the back. The outstanding features are the large white and red fabric flowers at green leaves at the front, plus the pristine navy full veil with small white dots. A simply gorgeous look! Women’s 1930s hats were small and simple in decoration, yet their shaping was a work of art. Folded, molded, and angled felt made hats look like something out of a Picasso painting. Women’s hats in the 1930s covered the hair and were used to mysteriously cover one eye or the forehead. There is no designer label, indicating it was a custom-made creation. This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years. Feathers, straw, flowers & veils are fragile, given their age. Mannequin not for sale.
